About The Role We are excited to announce a walk-in recruitment drive at TCS Gandhinagar for the position of Network Engineer. This role is integral to our network operations team, responsible for managing, configuring, and troubleshooting network and telecom systems to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance.

The Network

Engineer will work in a dynamic environment, supporting both customer-facing services and internal infrastructure, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions aligned with organizational standards. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong foundation in networking and telecom technologies, ready to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment that supports 24x7 operations.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 15 years of full-time, regular education, including a graduation degree with CCNA certification.



Candidates must have completed their education with a comprehensive understanding of networking principles and telecom technologies.

Prior experience in network configuration, telecom provisioning, and troubleshooting is essential. Candidates should demonstrate robust communication skills, technical proficiency with Cisco platforms, and familiarity with protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VoIP. Exposure to telecom technologies like FTTB, FTTN, VDSL Copper, GPON, and MPLS will be advantageous.

A proactive attitude and willingness to work in shifts are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities The Network Engineer will be responsible for handling customer inquiries through voice, email, and chat channels, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting network connectivity problems, configuring telecom services, and supporting the deployment and maintenance of network hardware and software. The role involves working with off-net providers to resolve circuit or vendor-related issues, performing configuration, turn-up, and testing of managed services equipment for new customer installations, and providing ongoing support for existing customers.



Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to SLAs, maintain detailed records of interactions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction are central to this role, along with supporting organizational policies and standards.
