About The Chordifiers Studios The Chordifiers Studios is an award-winning independent record label and creative production studio based in Siliguri, India.

The studio is focused on building sustainable music careers for independent artists through professional music production, artist development, creative guidance and structured industry opportunities.

Our objective is to reduce uncertainty around pursuing music as a professional career by providing artists with the right creative, technical and professional support to develop their sound, identity and long-term trajectory.

The studio team works closely with artists and creative professionals across the complete music development process, from concept and pre-production through recording, production and final delivery.

About the Position The Chordifiers Studios is seeking a Music Producer / Music Producer Intern to join our team in Siliguri.

The selected candidate will work closely with artists and the creative team to develop, arrange and produce high-quality music projects.

This is a hands-on studio-based role involving music production, recording sessions, arrangement, sound design, artist collaboration and production management.

We are looking for individuals with strong practical production capabilities, musical understanding, technical proficiency, professional discipline and a demonstrable portfolio of work.

The role requires genre versatility. Candidates whose experience is limited exclusively to one genre, particularly Hip-Hop or Trap, may not be suitable for this position.

Work Location — Strictly On-Site

Location: Siliguri, West Bengal

This is a strictly on-site position at The Chordifiers Studios.

- Remote work is not available.
- Hybrid work is not available.
- Candidates currently residing outside Siliguri must be willing to relocate.
- Relocation and associated expenses will be the responsibility of the candidate.
- Candidates should apply only if they are able to work from the studio on a regular full-time basis.

Current location and willingness to relocate will be considered during the initial screening process.

Compensation

Up to ₹25,000 per month The final compensation will depend on the candidate's:

The stated amount represents the maximum compensation for this position and is not guaranteed for every applicant. For internship candidates, compensation will be determined according to the candidate's educational background, practical capabilities, portfolio and overall profile.

Key Responsibilities The selected candidate may be responsible for:

- Developing and producing original music
- Working with artists to develop their musical direction
- Creating and refining song arrangements
- Managing music production from pre-production through final mix
- Preparing and managing recording sessions
- Recording vocals and instruments
- Guiding artists through recording and performance takes

- Maintaining organised production sessions and project files

Prior experience as a Music Producer, Assistant Producer, Recording Producer or in a comparable professional/semi-professional production environment is preferred.

Relevant professional credits and demonstrated studio experience will be an advantage.

Music Producer Intern

Candidates applying for the internship track should either:

- Be currently pursuing a relevant degree, diploma or recognised course in Music Production, Audio Engineering, Music Technology or a related field; or
- Hold a relevant diploma/degree or equivalent formal training in the field.

Strong independent production work and a substantial portfolio are expected even for internship applicants.
