Key Responsibilities

- Welding Operations: Perform MIG welding to join metal components, including filler metals and structural steel, adhering to blueprints and specifications.
- Setup and Maintenance: Set up welding machines, including adjusting gas ratios, voltage, and wire feed speed. Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and defects to meet technical standards.
- Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety guidelines (PPE) and maintain a clean, organized work area (5S standards).
- Fabrication/Assembly: Measure, cut, and prepare materials for assembly, utilizing tools like grinders, clamps, and fixtures. Betterteam +7

Common Requirements

- Experience:



Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role (often 2-5+ years).
- Skills: Proficiency in blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and GMAW techniques.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or completion of a vocational welding program.
- Physical Ability: Robust physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in uncomfortable positions for long periods.
