Strong experience as a Microservices Engineer, Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer or DevOps Engineer working with cloud-native services.

Strong hands-on Java engineering experience, preferably with Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks, including API design, service development, testing, debugging and production support.

Experience designing, building and running microservices using REST APIs, event-driven patterns, service-to-service communication, resilience patterns and secure integration practices.

Good working knowledge of Python and/or Go for automation, tooling, platform services, utilities or supporting microservice development.

Hands-on experience deploying and operating services on Kubernetes platforms, preferably GKE, including containers, deployments, ingress, service networking, scaling and troubleshooting.

Strong experience with CI/CD tooling, automated testing, code quality,



release automation and engineering controls across the software delivery lifecycle.

Good understanding of Kafka or equivalent messaging platforms, including event-driven architecture, producers, consumers, topics, consumer lag, error handling and operational monitoring.

Experience with observability, including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, service health, incident response and problem management.

Solid understanding of non-functional requirements including performance, resilience, security, capacity, availability, recoverability and operational readiness.

Experience owning services through build and run, including change delivery, production support, incident management, defect resolution and continual improvement.
