Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Microbiology Manager with solid hands-on experience in formulation and microbiological analysis to manage microbiology activities and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day microbiology laboratory activities
- Perform and supervise microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Handle formulation-related microbiological activities and testing
- Develop, review, and maintain microbiological test methods and SOPs
- Conduct microbial limit tests, environmental monitoring, and water testing
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results
- Maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, and quality standards
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, and R&D; departments
- Manage laboratory equipment, media preparation, cultures, and consumables




- Train and supervise microbiology team members
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical / cosmetic / organic microbiology
- Hands-on formulation experience is mandatory
- Knowledge of microbial testing and laboratory procedures
- Good documentation and analytical skills
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and microbiological quality standards
- Strong team management and problem-solving skills

Qualification

- M.Sc. Microbiology preferred
- B.Sc. Microbiology with relevant experience may also be considered

Experience

- 3–4 years of relevant experience
- Formulation experience is mandatory
- Experience in Pharma / Cosmetics / Herbal manufacturing will be preferred

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
