We are looking for an experienced, energetic and target-oriented Medical Representative (MR) to join our Sales & Marketing team and manage business development activities in the assigned territory.

Job Summary The Medical Representative will be responsible for promoting Durvasa Ayurved's products, developing professional relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals, managing retailers and distributors, expanding the customer base, and achieving assigned sales targets.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in Medical Representative, Pharma Sales, Ayurvedic Sales or Healthcare Field Sales, along with strong communication, negotiation and territory-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Promote and generate awareness about Durvasa Ayurved products within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular visits to doctors, clinics, pharmacies, retailers and distributors.
- Present and explain product features, benefits and appropriate usage to doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Generate product demand and prescriptions through effective and compliant product promotion.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, retailers and distributors.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.




- Identify new business opportunities and develop new customers.
- Ensure effective territory coverage and regular market visits.
- Coordinate with distributors and retailers to ensure product availability.
- Collect market feedback, customer insights and competitor information.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Maintain daily visit reports, sales reports and required MIS.
- Participate in company meetings, product training and promotional activities.
- Coordinate regularly with the ASM regarding sales performance, market activities and targets.
- Follow company policies, reporting procedures and sales guidelines.
- Perform other sales-related responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Candidate ProfileRequired Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Representative / Field Sales Executive.
- Experience in Pharma, Ayurvedic, Healthcare or related field sales will be preferred.
- Graduate in any discipline.
- B.Pharm, B.Sc., BBA or relevant qualification will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing, presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Strong relationship-building skills with doctors, retailers and distributors.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.




- Good territory and market-management skills.
- Self-motivated, disciplined and target-oriented.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel and sales reporting/MIS will be an advantage.
