Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and manage patients with various types and stages of cancer.

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, staging, investigations, and clinical condition.

- Administer and supervise chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other systemic cancer treatments.

- Review and interpret relevant laboratory, radiology, pathology, and molecular diagnostic reports.

- Monitor patients during and after treatment and manage treatment-related complications and adverse effects.

- Coordinate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary cancer care.

- Conduct regular OPD consultations and provide appropriate follow-up care.

- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, prescriptions, and clinical documentation.

- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and possible side effects.

- Participate in tumor boards, clinical meetings, and quality-improvement activities.

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, patient-safety standards,



and applicable medical guidelines.

Eligibility

- MD/DNB in General Medicine/Internal Medicine with DM/DNB Medical Oncology, as applicable.

- Valid medical registration.

- Prior experience in a reputed hospital/cancer centre will be preferred.
