Role Purpose

Lead mechanical equipment and piping engineering for ISP projects, ensuring reliable, maintainable and constructible designs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead mechanical equipment and piping engineering.
- Review equipment specifications and datasheets.
- Review pumps, compressors, fans, conveyors, gearboxes and hydraulic systems.
- Review piping layouts, specifications and stress analysis.
- Conduct equipment layout and 3D model reviews.
- Review vendor drawings and technical documentation.
- Ensure equipment maintainability and accessibility.
- Coordinate mechanical interfaces with other disciplines.
- Support procurement technical evaluations.
- Support erection and commissioning activities.
- Drive standardization and lifecycle cost optimization.

The ideal candidates should have:
- 15 - 25 years of total professional experience.
- Strong experience in steel, metals, heavy engineering, EPC or large industrial projects.
- Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects will be preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong EPC contractor and technology supplier management experience.
- Experience in commissioning and plant ramp-up is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of industrial HSE requirements.
- Willingness to work from Mumbai/Navi Mumbai and travel to project sites as required.
- Solid communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within schedule, budget and quality requirements.
