Role Description This Mechanical Engineering role focuses on developing detail design packages for Air-Cooled Condenser systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design and drafting using 3D models, performing engineering calculations, and generating detailed drawings and specifications in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. This is a hybrid role based in Chennai, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge, including thermodynamics, heat transfer, and mechanical design for industrial and power plant applications.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills, with proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for detail design and drafting.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan tasks, manage timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and support documentation and reporting.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, perform calculations, evaluate design options, and troubleshoot engineering issues.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills for explicit technical writing, effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, and professional interaction with clients and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in design and engineering of Air-Cooled Condensers or similar thermal/mechanical systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant international codes, standards, and industry practices in Oil & Gas or power/industrial projects is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Chennai, manage priorities independently, and adapt to evolving project needs.
