Role Description This is a full time Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Pune City.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for fiber laser cutting, welding, bending, and automation systems. Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing detailed CAD models and drawings, performing basic calculations and design validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, procurement, and service to ensure manufacturability and performance. The role also involves refining existing designs, supporting product customization for clients,



and assisting in documentation, BOM creation, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to industrial systems.
- Hands-on experience in Machine Design and Product Design, including designing mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, and sheet-metal or fabricated structures.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, or similar) for 3D modeling, drafting, and detailing.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications, and familiarity with tolerance, GD&T;, and basic FEA concepts is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup and coordinate with shop-floor and engineering teams.
- Prior experience in laser cutting, automation, or industrial machinery design is an advantage.
