Travel: Primarily within Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. Approximately 2 months per year may involve travel to other states based on business requirements. During the remaining period, the role will be based in the home state, with responsibilities at the factory and/or customer/dealer locations nearby.

We are looking for a hands-on Service Engineer who enjoys working in the field, solving real mechanical problems and interacting directly with farmers and our dealer network.

This is not a desk-based engineering role. The person will be an important link between Krishitek's factory, dealers and farmers across India.

Role Overview

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installation, fitting, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and technical support of Krishitek agricultural machinery.

You will travel to farms and dealer locations across India, particularly during peak agricultural seasons, to ensure machines are properly installed, operational and supported.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of tractors, hydraulic systems, mechanical assemblies and agricultural implements, along with a genuine willingness to work in rural field conditions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Commissioning

- Travel to customer farms and dealer locations for machine installation and commissioning and training to dealers / Farmers
- Fit and mount tractor-mounted and hydraulically operated agricultural implements on different tractor models.
- Check hydraulic connections, linkages, alignment, mounting and machine operation.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspection and ensure machines are ready for field operation.

2. Field Service & Troubleshooting

- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and operational problems at customer sites.
- Attend breakdown and service complaints during critical harvesting and farming seasons.
- Carry out on-site repairs, adjustments and component replacements.
- Identify root causes of recurring machine failures and recommend corrective actions.




- Minimize machine downtime and ensure quick resolution of customer complaints.

3. Remote Technical Support

- Handle day-to-day technical calls from farmers and dealers.
- Guide customers through basic troubleshooting, machine adjustments and maintenance.
- Use photographs/videos shared by customers to diagnose issues remotely wherever possible.
- Escalate complex technical problems to the Senior Service Engineer or factory team.

4. Dealer & Distributor Support

- Visit dealers and distributors across assigned territories.
- Provide technical training to dealer service teams.
- Support dealers during machine demonstrations and customer complaints.
- Assist with service claims and warranty-related technical assessments.
- Inspect dealer stock and identify machines requiring service or corrective action.

5. Farmer Demonstration & Training

- Demonstrate correct machine operation to farmers.
- Train farmers on protected operating procedures, hydraulic adjustments and daily maintenance.
- Explain preventive maintenance practices to improve machine life and performance.
- Build trust and maintain professional relationships with farmers.

6. Service Documentation & Feedback

- Maintain daily records of field visits, complaints, repairs and parts replaced.
- Prepare service reports after customer/dealer visits.
- Track recurring technical issues and identify patterns.
- Provide structured feedback to the manufacturing and engineering teams for product improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of warranty and service claims.

Required Technical Knowledge The candidate should have practical understanding of:

- Agricultural machinery and implements
- Tractor hydraulic systems
- Hydraulic cylinders, hoses, valves and connections
- Tractor three-point linkage systems
- PTO systems and shafts
- Mechanical assemblies and alignment
- Bearings, chains, belts, gears and shafts
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
- Preventive maintenance and machine inspection
- Use of mechanical hand tools and service equipment

Hands-on mechanical ability is more important than purely theoretical knowledge.

Qualification

- Diploma in:

- Agricultural Engineering





- Related technical disciplines

Experience 01 years of relevant experience.

Freshers with strong practical/technical skills and a willingness to travel may also be considered.

Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:

- Agricultural machinery
- Tractor servicing
- Hydraulic equipment
- Construction equipment
- Commercial vehicles
- Automobile servicing
- Farm machinery dealerships

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who is:

- Hands-on: Comfortable opening, inspecting, adjusting and repairing machines.
- Problem-solving oriented: Able to diagnose problems systematically rather than simply replacing parts.
- Farmer-centric: Patient, respectful and comfortable communicating with farmers.
- Independent: Capable of managing field assignments with minimal supervision.
- Travel-ready: Comfortable spending significant time on the road and working in rural environments.
- Responsible: Takes ownership of customer complaints until resolution.
- Adaptable: Able to work with different tractor models, field conditions and regional requirements.

The candidate must be comfortable with travel, rural locations and field-based working conditions.

Language Requirements

- Hindi – Mandatory
- Gujarati – Preferred
- Knowledge of additional regional languages will be an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: 2,40,000 to 3,00,000 per annum
