Role Description:

The MD Gynaecologist will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care to patients, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up.

Responsibilities include conducting routine and high-risk antenatal check-ups, performing gynaecological examinations and procedures, and interpreting diagnostic tests. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records,



collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams, counselling patients and families on treatment options and preventive care, and adhering to clinical protocols and quality standards. This is a

Part-Time , on-site role based in Vasai, requiring consistent presence in the clinic/hospital setting and participation in on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

- Recognized MD / MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from an accredited institution, with valid registration from the relevant medical council.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in antenatal care, labour management, gynaecological disorders, and reproductive health.
- Ability to perform common gynaecological and obstetric procedures, including minor surgeries and emergency management.
- Strong skills in patient counselling, communication, and delivery of compassionate, non-judgmental care.
- Commitment to inclusive, evidence-based practice and adherence to ethical and legal standards in healthcare.
- Experience working in community or resource-limited settings is an advantage.
- Comfort with using electronic medical records and basic digital health tools; openness to learning new health technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff, and to contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
