About this Role
Our IT ecosystem is fragmented, the legacy of many acquisitions never fully integrated, and we run today on 14 different ERPs. To master this complexity, we have built “Nexus”, our data platform on Microsoft Azure, which extracts, loads and transforms data from all our ERPs and where we build our master data, ready for consumption: daily sales reports, cost analysis, production reports, IBP (o9), Salesforce, and automated group finance reporting (“MIS”) in Workday. In this role, you will be the guardian of that master data: keeping it structured, clean, and trustable so our processes, reporting, and decisions can be trusted too.
You will build and run the governance processes that keep data structured at the source, working hand-in-hand with our factories and regional teams. You will partner with the function leaders who own each data domain, with the global IT team, and with the corporate data “Nexus” team. And when management needs answers, you will roll up your sleeves: profiling data, running on-demand analyses, and bringing insights that span business functions and IT.
Here are some things that you’ll be responsible to:
- Master data quality & stewardship — keep master data structured, clean, and trustable across domains (material, customer, vendor, finance, and more) consolidated in Nexus from 14 ERPs; monitor quality KPIs; drive cleansing, de-duplication, and enrichment; root-cause recurring data errors.
- Data governance framework — build and operate governance processes, policies, standards, and business rules that keep data structured from source systems, in collaboration with factories and regional teams.
- Ownership & standards — work with the function leaders who own each master data domain; formalize roles (owners, stewards), data dictionaries, naming conventions, and validation rules.
- Create/change workflows — design and run controlled request processes for master data creation, change, and extension, with clear SLAs, approvals, and audit trail.
- On-demand analysis & insights — profile and analyze data on request; bring fact-based insights to management across business functions and IT; make data issues and opportunities visible.
- Source-system alignment — partner with global IT and local ERP teams to embed standards and validations at the source across a heterogeneous, multi-ERP landscape; support data migrations and onboarding of newly acquired scope.
- Corporate “Nexus” collaboration — work daily with the corporate data “Nexus” team on the Azure platform: master data build, pipelines from the ERPs, and making data consumption-ready for sales, cost, and production reporting, IBP (o9), Salesforce, and Workday.
- Finance reporting & CoA standardization — own the mapping and standardization of Charts of Accounts across our ERPs, enabling automated group finance reporting (“MIS”) in Workday; keep mappings current as entities and scope evolve.
- Capability building & adoption — train key users and data stewards in factories and regions; maintain documentation; foster a data-quality culture across Fibers.
You might be a good fit if you have We are looking for someone with strong master data management and data governance experience, combined with hands-on analytical skills. Someone energized rather than intimidated by a heterogeneous, multi-ERP landscape. Operating from our GCC in a matrix organization, your collaboration and communication skills are necessary to lead through influence in a fast-paced environment.
We want those that are equally comfortable cleansing a vendor master file as facilitating a governance forum with function leaders.
The ideal candidate will have:
Interpersonal & communication

- Builds trust across factories, regions, functions, and global; strong relationship-building and influence without authority in a matrix organization.
- Skilled facilitator of governance forums and data-owner workshops, turning discussion into standards and action plans.
Data management expertise
- Solid MDM experience across core domains (material, customer, vendor, finance) in multi-ERP, multi-site landscapes (SAP and non-SAP), ideally consolidated into a central data platform.
- Command of data quality techniques and tooling: profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, monitoring, and quality KPIs.
- Working knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK): ownership models, stewardship, policies, and standards.
- Robust hands-on analysis skills (SQL, Power BI, Excel, AI) to deliver on-demand insights to management.
Delivery & governance
- Discipline in process design, SLAs, KPIs, and documentation; keeps governance pragmatic and adopted, not theoretical.
- Orchestrates cross-functional data workflows end-to-end, from request intake in the regions to posting in source systems.
Business & strategic acumen
- Understands how master data quality drives process performance, reporting reliability, and P&L; impact.
- Turns data findings into clear recommendations and channels improvement opportunities into a structured intake.

- Microsoft Azure data stack (Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse/Databricks, Pureview); familiarity with Profissee; Chart of Accounts harmonization experience; MDM/governance tools (SAP MDG, Informatica, Collibra); Python for data wrangling; CDMP or similar certification.

- Governance adoption: % of domains with formalized owners, standards, and workflows; conformance of ERP sources and CoA mappings to standards.
- Service: master data request SLAs met; turnaround time and backlog trends.
- Insights: on-demand analyses delivered; decisions and actions triggered by insights.
- Capability: key users and stewards trained; documentation coverage and freshness.
