Role & responsibilities

- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve commercial vehicle sales, revenue, and profitability targets.

- Identify and acquire new customers, including fleet operators, transport companies, contractors, dealers, institutions, and corporate clients.

- Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, networking, industry events, exhibitions, and market intelligence.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, financiers, channel partners, and other key stakeholders.

- Understand customer transportation requirements and recommend suitable commercial vehicle models, specifications, and financing options.

- Conduct competitor analysis and monitor market trends to identify current business opportunities and improve market share.

- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, product presentations, and commercial offers; negotiate terms and successfully close deals.

- Coordinate with sales, service, finance, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth vehicle delivery and customer onboarding.





- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, sales pipeline, forecasts, and business development activities in the CRM or reporting system.

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets while providing regular reports and updates to the management team.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 3–7 years of experience in commercial vehicle sales, fleet sales, automotive sales, automobile dealerships, or a related industry.

- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle products, applications, customer segments, and market dynamics.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, relationship-management, and follow-up skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

- Valid driving licence and proficiency in MS Office and CRM applications are preferred.
