Roles and Responsibilities:

Reinsurance Technology Portfolio Management

- Own and manage the complete Reinsurance IT portfolio across all Lines of Business.
- Ensure stable operations, scalability, performance, and availability of all Reinsurance applications.
- Develop and execute technology roadmap aligned with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Govern end-to-end system lifecycle management including development, deployment, enhancement, support, and retirement.

Application Delivery & Change Management

- Lead requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production rollout of all Reinsurance initiatives.
- Ensure all RI-related requirements are planned, prioritized, tracked, and delivered as per IT governance processes.
- Drive implementation of new business requirements related to treaties, commissions, bordereaux, settlements, accounting, and reporting.
- Manage application releases and production changes with minimal business disruption.

Month-End Closing & Business Continuity

- Ensure successful completion of monthly Reinsurance closing activities within defined timelines (target within 3 working days).
- Monitor reconciliation, data validation, accounting outputs, and downstream integrations.
- Drive root cause analysis and ensure closure of all defects and observations before subsequent month-end cycles.
- Maintain continuity of critical financial and operational processes.

IFRS Enablement

- Own technology support and implementation of IFRS 17 related requirements across Reinsurance systems.
- Ensure accurate data flow, accounting treatment, reporting, and integration with finance systems.
- Support Finance, Actuarial, and Risk teams in IFRS 17 compliance initiatives.
- Drive enhancements required due to evolving accounting and regulatory standards.

Treaty Configuration & Annual Renewals





- Ensure annual treaty configurations and renewals are completed accurately and within business timelines.
- Support implementation of new treaty structures, facultative arrangements, commissions, and business rules.
- Ensure impact assessment and system readiness for every treaty renewal cycle.

Job Requirements :

- 5-12 years of experience in IT management or a related field.
- Solid understanding of application engineering, application delivery, and business analysis principles.
- Experience working in an insurance industry environment (preferably reinsurance) is desirable but not essential.
- - Deep understanding of Reinsurance business processes and operations.
- Strong knowledge of General Insurance business across multiple LOBs.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and insurance accounting processes.
- Knowledge of audit, risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.Understanding of policy administration, underwriting, claims, and finance systems

- Cloud platforms, infrastructure, database, and middleware technologies.

- **- 8+ years of experience in Reinsurance Technology, Insurance Application Delivery

- Proven experience managing end-to-end Reinsurance systems and platforms.
- Experience in General Insurance domain with strong understanding of treaty, facultative, commission, bordereaux, claims recovery, accounting, and settlement processes.
- Experience in implementing and supporting IFRS related technology solutions.Demonstrated experience leading application development, support, and transformation programs
