Role. – Manager- Proprietary Component Developer

Job Location - Akurdi, Pune

Department - Material

Qualification - Btech in Engineering , Post-graduation in Materials Management desirable.

Preferred Exposure : Component development , Vendor Development , Purchase , SCM.

Job Role & Responsibilities : Development of Components for Recent Projects through Vendors.

Responsibilities: Development of Proprietary Vehicle components for Motorcycle & CV Projects as per Project timelines. (Components like Locks , Brakes, Fork & Shock Absorbers, springs , cables etc ). End to End responsibility for Quality , Cost , Delivery of the Component.

Competency Requiremen ts

Technical/ Functional: Knowledge of manufacturing processes – Casting , machining , Rubber molding & Assembly / Testing . Zero based costing of components .

Supply Chain Management and Vendor Development

Desirable: Knowledge of tools , jigs and fixture design and costing , TPM , PPAP , APQP, SAP.
