Role Description The Maintenance Technician role at Basil is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The technician will be responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on kitchen and facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, executing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.

The role also involves coordinating with outlet teams, maintaining maintenance logs, following safety and hygiene standards,



and supporting installation or commissioning of new equipment as Basil continues to expand.

The Maintenance

Technician will work closely with operations and facility management to keep outlets running smoothly.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Refrigeration Maintenance (80%) and Maintenance & Repair for kitchen and facility systems.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance skills relevant to food service environments and commercial equipment.
- Relevant technical diploma, ITI certification, or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, follow safety protocols, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Prior experience in restaurant, food service, FMCG, or hospitality maintenance is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.
- Open to travelling to multiple locations.
