A Maintenance Engineer for Data logger/ RTU/ PLC and SCADA systems ensures the maximum uptime, reliability, and continuous operation of industrial automation infrastructure. Their core responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting hardware and network failures, updating software logic, and performing emergency breakdowns to minimize production or utility downtime.

Key Responsibilities

· Routine Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on Data Logger, RTU, PLC panels, SCADA workstations, HMI screens, and industrial networks.

· Fault Diagnostics: Troubleshoot system faults, I/O module failures, communication drops, and loop errors under high-pressure breakdown conditions.

· Logic Modification: Perform minor programming changes, logic updates, and backup management for PLC programs and SCADA graphic configurations.

· Calibration & Instrumentation: Verify and maintain field instruments (sensors, transmitters, VFDs, actuators) interfacing with the control system.





· Network Maintenance: Monitor and maintain industrial communication links, including Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP networks.

· Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of breakdowns, history cards, calibration reports, change management tracking, and inventory of critical spares.

Essential Qualifications

· Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.

· Experience: Fresher / 1 year of hands-on maintenance experience in Electronics/ PLC & SCDA

· PLC/SCADA Expertise: Working knowledge of major platforms such as Schneider Electric, or Siemens

· Location/Mobility: Mumbai Maharashtra

· Soft Skills: Robust analytical thinking, swift problem-solving during plant emergencies, and willingness to work in rotational shifts.
