Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bagru for a Maintenance Department Supervisor / Officer specializing in stones, tiles, marbles, granites, ceramics, and quartz. The role involves overseeing daily maintenance activities for production and processing areas, ensuring equipment, cutting and polishing machines, and handling systems are operating safely and efficiently.

The supervisor will plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime, and monitor inventory of spare parts and tools. The role includes supervising maintenance staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality guidelines specific to stone and surface materials.



The position also requires maintaining accurate documentation, reporting issues promptly, and working closely with management to improve processes and reduce maintenance costs.

Qualifications

- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices for stones, tiles, marbles, granites, ceramics, and quartz, including cutting, polishing, and handling equipment.
- Experience in supervising maintenance teams, delegating workloads, and monitoring performance in a manufacturing or processing setting.
- Ability to plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinate with external vendors when needed.
- Solid understanding of workplace safety standards, equipment safety procedures, and quality control practices in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in maintaining maintenance logs, using basic computer tools for reporting, and communicating clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or equivalent practical experience in maintenance supervision.
- Prior experience in stone, tile, or building materials manufacturing or processing is highly preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Bagru, manage shifts if required, and respond promptly to operational maintenance needs.
