About the Role
Nexzu Mobility Ltd. is looking for a technically skilled Maintenance Engineer responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and maintaining EV electrical, electronic, and powertrain components. The role will involve troubleshooting vehicle-level issues and ensuring proper functioning of all critical electrical and powertrain systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair EV powertrain-related issues, including motor, motor connections, wiring, and related components.
- Troubleshoot and repair motor controllers and identify controller-related faults.
- Diagnose and repair battery charger and charging-related issues.
- Troubleshoot display/instrument cluster problems and communication-related issues.
- Inspect, test, and repair cables, wiring harnesses, connectors, and electrical connections.
- Diagnose and repair headlight, tail light, indicators, switches, and other electrical accessories.
- Troubleshoot and repair throttle/accelerator-related issues.
- Identify electrical and electronic faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform vehicle-level electrical and functional testing after repairs.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of EV systems.
- Inspect returned/failed components and identify the root cause of failure.
- Maintain proper records of repairs, component replacements, failures, and testing results.
- Coordinate with the Service, Production, Quality, and R&D; teams for recurring technical issues.
- Support failure analysis and root-cause analysis (RCA) for repeated component/vehicle failures.
- Ensure repaired vehicles/components meet defined quality and safety standards before release.
- Follow all company safety procedures while working on electrical and EV systems.
- Maintain proper tools, equipment, spare parts, and work area.
- Support field/service teams in resolving technical issues when required.
- Provide technical feedback to improve vehicle reliability and reduce repeat failures.

- Hands-on experience in diagnosing vehicle electrical faults.
- Ability to identify component-level and vehicle-level failures.
- Good knowledge of multimeter and electrical testing procedures.
- Ability to perform systematic root-cause analysis.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to safety and quality.
Qualification Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Automobile Engineering
- EV / related technical field
Experience 2–5 years of relevant experience in:
- Electric Vehicles
- Automobile electrical systems
- EV service/repair
- Powertrain maintenance
- Automotive electronics
- Electrical troubleshooting
Candidates with strong hands-on experience in EV repair and troubleshooting will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile A technically strong and hands-on engineer who can independently diagnose, repair, test, and troubleshoot EV powertrain and electrical components, with a practical approach toward reducing repeat failures and improving vehicle reliability. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
