Logistics Executive

Job Summary The Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating day-to-day shipment operations, ensuring timely pickup, documentation, tracking, dispatch, and delivery of shipments. The role requires effective coordination with customers, branches, courier partners, airlines, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient shipment movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily domestic and international shipment operations.
- Receive and process shipment bookings from customers and branches.
- Arrange and coordinate pickup schedules with pickup teams and customers.
- Prepare and verify shipment documents, invoices, manifests, and other required paperwork.
- Ensure accurate data entry of shipment details in the company system.
- Monitor shipment status from pickup to final delivery.
- Track delayed, pending, held, returned, or customs-related shipments and take necessary action.
- Coordinate with international courier partners, airlines, agents, and destination offices.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, delays, delivery issues, and other queries.
- Ensure proper packing, labeling, weighing, and documentation of shipments.
- Coordinate shipment handover and dispatch within scheduled timelines.
- Follow up on customs clearance and documentation requirements where applicable.
- Maintain proper records of shipments, delivery status, and operational activities.
- Coordinate with branch teams, warehouse teams, customer service, and accounts departments.
- Identify operational issues and escalate them to the Branch Manager or Operations Manager.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and international shipping requirements.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Support the team in achieving daily and monthly shipment targets.
- Perform other logistics and operational duties assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of logistics and courier operations.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation.
- Good computer skills and ability to work with logistics software/CRM systems.
- Ability to track and follow up on multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Teamwork and time-management skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Plus Two / Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in logistics, courier, freight forwarding, or international shipment operations preferred.
- Freshers with good communication and coordination skills may also be considered.

Working Conditions
- Full time position.
- Branch/office-based with regular coordination with customers, pickup teams, warehouse, branches, and courier partners.
- May require extended working hours depending on shipment schedules and operational requirements.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
