Operational Knowledge of Content & LMS | ID + LMS Administrator + Manager
Role Overview
LCT is looking for a freelance LMS Manager with strong operational knowledge of e-learning content and LMS administration. The ideal candidate should be able to manage LMS operations, coordinate course/content deployment, troubleshoot issues, support reporting, and work closely with Instructional Designers, content teams, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day LMS operations, including course creation, publishing, enrolment, user management, and course assignments.
- Upload, configure, test, and maintain SCORM and other e-learning content on the LMS.
- Ensure courses are correctly configured for completion, tracking, scoring, assessments, and reporting.
- Monitor course and learner activity and generate LMS reports and usage data as required.
- Troubleshoot common LMS, SCORM, content, access, and tracking issues and coordinate with technical teams when required.
- Maintain course catalogues, learning paths, user groups, assignments, and other LMS configurations.
- Coordinate with Instructional Designers, Content Aggregators, SMEs, developers, and project managers to ensure timely course deployment.
- Review e-learning content from an operational perspective and identify issues related to navigation, functionality, tracking, or LMS compatibility.
- Manage course updates, revisions, archival, and version control.
- Support LMS-related queries from users and internal teams.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, trackers, and operational records.
- Manage or coordinate a team when required.
- Availability for approximately 3–4 hours during daytime on working days.
- Availability on all weekdays, not only weekends.
- Ability to coordinate with the team and attend discussions/review calls as required.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet timelines.
Instructional Design & Content Skills
- Good understanding of Instructional Design principles and e-learning development.
- Ability to understand storyboards, learning objectives, assessments, and course structures.
- Practical understanding of Level 1–3 e-learning and SCORM packages.
- Ability to work with content teams and identify gaps or issues before course deployment.
AI Skills
- Basic understanding of Generative AI and commonly used AI tools.
- Ability to use AI for documentation, reporting, content review, troubleshooting support, and operational tasks.
- Ability to review and validate AI-generated information before using it.
Qualifications & Experience
- Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in LMS administration, e-learning operations, Instructional Design, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with at least one LMS platform and SCORM-based content is preferred. Hands-on experience on Opigno platform is an added advantage.
- Experience managing teams or e-learning projects is an added advantage.
- Payment details: 2-4hrs per day, Rs 300 to 500 per hr
