Job Summary

FNS Solution is looking for a skilled Card-Level Engineer who can diagnose and repair laptops, desktops, and computer hardware at component level. The engineer will be responsible for motherboard troubleshooting, component replacement, testing, and repair.

Key Responsibilities

* Diagnose and repair laptop and desktop motherboards at component level.

- Troubleshoot motherboard power, charging, display, USB, audio, and other hardware faults.
- Perform IC, MOSFET, capacitor, resistor, diode and connector-level replacement.
- Identify short circuits and power-rail faults using a multimeter and DC power supply.
- Perform BIOS programming, BIOS troubleshooting, and firmware-related repairs.
- Handle laptop DC jack, charging circuit, display and keyboard-related faults.
- Diagnose motherboard-level issues using schematics and boardview files.
- Perform SMD soldering, desoldering, and component replacement.
- Conduct post-repair testing and ensure proper system functionality.
- Maintain records of repaired devices and replaced components.
- Coordinate with the service/IT team regarding repair status and technical issues.
- Follow ESD and safe-handling procedures while working on electronic components.

Required Technical Skills

* Strong knowledge of laptop and desktop motherboard architecture.





- Excellent component-level troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with SMD soldering and rework.
- Knowledge of BIOS programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to use:
- Digital Multimeter
- DC Power Supply
- Soldering Station
- Hot Air Rework Station
- BIOS Programmer
- Ability to read basic schematics and boardview diagrams.
- Positive understanding of electronic components and circuits.

Qualification

* ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of relevant card-level repair experience.

Preferred Candidate

* Experience repairing Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS and other laptop/desktop motherboards.

- Able to independently diagnose faults rather than only replacing complete motherboards.
- Good troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work from the FNS Solution service/repair location and visit client sites when required.

Salary

₹14,000 – ₹17,000 per month, depending on technical expertise and experience. If by “card-level engineer” you mean a network/server hardware card-level engineer rather than laptop motherboard repair, I can make that JD accordingly.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
