Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine and specialized laboratory investigations as assigned.

- Receive, identify, label, and process patient specimens according to established procedures.

- Ensure correct sample collection, transportation, storage, and disposal.

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, analyzers, and instruments.

- Perform hematology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, serology, microbiology, or other investigations as per assigned section and competency.

- Follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all laboratory tests.

- Verify test results and immediately communicate critical or abnormal values to the concerned Pathologist / Doctor / Laboratory In-Charge.

- Maintain accurate records of test results, worksheets, registers, and laboratory documentation.





- Perform internal quality control procedures and participate in external quality assurance programs as applicable.

- Monitor reagent stock, expiry dates, calibration status, and consumables.

- Report equipment malfunction, reagent issues, or quality-related problems to the Laboratory In-Charge.

- Ensure proper calibration, preventive maintenance, and daily operational checks of equipment.

- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the laboratory.

- Follow infection-control, biomedical waste management, and occupational safety protocols.

Location : Alipurduar, West Bengal

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
