Role Description The Kitchen Stewarding Manager is responsible for overseeing all stewarding operations to ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of kitchens, dishwashing areas, and back-of-house spaces. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru includes supervising the stewarding team, managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinating the maintenance of kitchen tools and machinery.

The role involves implementing and monitoring sanitation standards, supporting culinary and food & beverage teams during service and events, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.





The Kitchen Stewarding

Manager will also assist in scheduling, training, and performance management of stewarding team members, while working closely with other departments to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Food Preparation and Food Quality, with an understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
- Experience in Culinary Management and coordination with kitchen and food & beverage teams.
- Exposure to Food & Beverage operations, including support for banquets and high-volume service.
- Prior experience managing stewarding or back-of-house teams in a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Ability to plan schedules, manage inventories, and maintain equipment and supplies efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and people management skills, with a cooperative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in stewarding leadership roles will be considered.
- Understanding of local health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to hospitality operations.
