Role & responsibilities:

- Lead and implement Kaizen (continuous improvement) initiatives across jewellery manufacturing processes
- Analyze production workflows including casting, moulding, stone setting, polishing, plating, and assembly
- Identify waste (time, material, motion, defects) and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve productivity and reduce cycle time
- Implement Lean tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Poka-Yoke, Root Cause Analysis, and Standard Work
- Reduce gold and precious metal wastage through process optimization
- Improve yield, minimize rework, and enhance product quality
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to production efficiency, rejection rate, and turnaround time
- Facilitate continuous improvement workshops and employee engagement programs
- Collaborate with production, quality control,



maintenance, and planning teams
- Prepare improvement reports and present results to management
- Train shop-floor employees on Lean practices and process improvements

Preferred candidate profile:

- Experience in jewellery manufacturing or precision manufacturing industry
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), or Kaizen
- Hands-on experience with 5S implementation and waste reduction projects
- Familiarity with precious metal handling and production yield management
- Solid data analysis skills (Excel or ERP systems)
- Result-oriented with strong attention to detail
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams
