Meclusions Studio is developing a new digital streaming and content platform dedicated to bringing the stories, culture, people, traditions and lesser-explored narratives of Bharat to modern audiences through high-quality digital entertainment.

We are now looking for a hungry, energetic and camera-passionate Junior Videographer / Camera Operator who wants a genuine opportunity to enter professional digital production.

This is not a wedding photography job, mobile-reel creator position or routine office videography role.

You will get an opportunity to work on original shows, interviews, documentaries, studio programs, cultural programming, promotional content and digital streaming productions under the direction of experienced creative professionals.

Our team is being built by industry professionals with 25+ years of experience across Indian television, film, animation, VFX and digital production.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are specifically looking for:

- Freshers with strong practical camera knowledge
- Junior Videographers with approximately 1–2 years of experience
- Recent graduates from Film, Mass Communication, Cinematography, Media or related courses
- Young camera operators who are serious about making Videography / Cinematography their career
- Candidates who may not have major industry credits yet but are extremely hungry to get their first serious break
- Someone who wants to learn how professional productions are actually planned, shot and delivered

You do NOT need 5–10 years of experience. We are intentionally looking for young, affordable and trainable talent who can grow with our production ecosystem.

YOUR ROLE

You will work directly with the Director / Creative Team and execute planned shots according to the production requirement.

Your responsibilities may include

Camera Operation

- Operate DSLR / Mirrorless / Professional Camcorders confidently
- Understand basic camera settings including shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance and frame rates
- Shoot stable, properly exposed and visually pleasing footage
- Execute wide, medium, close-up, over-the-shoulder and detail shots as directed

Production Shooting

- Interviews and conversations
- Studio shows and anchor-led programs
- Documentary-style shoots
- Temple / cultural / location-based productions
- Behind-the-scenes and promotional content
- Short-form digital content
- Event and special-program coverage when required

Visual Storytelling

- Understand basic composition, framing, perspective and continuity
- Know when to use static shots, movement, close-ups and establishing shots
- Capture usable footage rather than simply “recording everything”
- Be attentive to details, backgrounds, lighting and unwanted elements in frame

Working With Direction

- Follow shot lists and creative instructions accurately
- Take direction from the Director / DOP / Creative Head
- Be willing to repeat a shot until it is right
- Understand that professional filmmaking is a team sport
- Be flexible when a shot or production requirement changes

BASIC CAMERA KNOWLEDGE WE EXPECT You should have a working understanding of:

- DSLR / Mirrorless / Camcorder operation
- Manual exposure
- Focus and autofocus modes




- Frame rates and shutter speed
- White balance
- Basic lens selection
- Tripod operation
- Basic handheld / shoulder shooting
- Basic camera movement
- Recording formats and media management
- Basic audio awareness
- Basic lighting awareness

You do not need to own an expensive cinema camera. What matters more to us is whether you understand a camera and can produce good footage with the equipment available to you.

AUDIO & LIGHTING — A BIG ADVANTAGE

You will receive an advantage if you understand basic:

- Lavalier / wireless microphone placement
- Boom microphone fundamentals
- Recording clean dialogue
- Basic three-point lighting
- LED / soft-light usage
- Controlling exposure in difficult locations
- Indoor and outdoor shooting conditions

You don't have to be a Sound Engineer or Gaffer. But a Videographer who understands camera + light + basic sound is much more valuable to a small production team.

THE MOST IMPORTANT QUALITY: YOUR EYE

We are not looking merely for someone who knows which button to press.

We are looking for someone who can gradually develop a filmmaker's eye.

You should naturally notice:

“Can this shot look better?”

“Should I move the camera?”

“Is the background distracting?”

“Is the subject properly framed?”

“Can I get a better close-up?”

“Do we need a cutaway?”

If you think this way, you will fit extremely well into our team.

MUMBAI CANDIDATES ONLY

This position is strictly for candidates based in Mumbai / Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

We are not looking for candidates from other cities for this vacancy.

Please do not apply expecting permanent remote work.

The role requires participation in physical shoots, production activities, equipment handling and location/studio work.

Candidates who are already living in Mumbai will receive priority.

And if you are applying from out of Mumbai you'll have to relocate to Mumbai for this Job.
