About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, a keen eye for bugs, and the ability to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards before release. Key Responsibilities

- Design, write, and execute manual test cases and test plans

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing

- Identify, document, and track bugs using free and paid bug tracking tools according to requirements

- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues

- Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing after deployments

- Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning meetings

- Maintain and update test documentation and QA reports

- Assist in exploring basic automation testing where applicable

- Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements before release

- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

- Agile / Scrum methodology

- Basic understanding of HTML / SQL (preferred)

Requirements

- 2 to 2.5 years of hands-on experience in software testing / QA

- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and test case writing

- Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools like JIRA

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
