About the Role

Talent Scroll is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and motivated Junior Interior Designer Intern who is passionate about interior design, space planning, and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.

This 3-month internship will provide hands-on exposure to real interior design projects while working with experienced designers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior interior designers in developing residential and commercial interior design concepts.
- Prepare mood boards, material selections, colour palettes, and design presentations.
- Assist with space planning, furniture layouts, and design development.
- Create and modify 2D drawings and basic 3D models.
- Assist in preparing working drawings, elevations, and other design documentation.
- Research new materials, furniture, finishes, and current interior design trends.
- Coordinate with designers, vendors, and project team members when required.
- Visit project sites and assist with design and site coordination.
- Make design revisions based on feedback from senior designers and clients.
- Maintain organized project drawings, presentations, and files.

Requirements




- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Freshers and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of interior design, space planning, and materials.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp is preferred.
- Knowledge of 3ds Max, Revit, Photoshop, or other design software will be an advantage.
- Strong creativity and visualisation skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Portfolio of academic or personal design projects is preferred.
