Role Description This is a full time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru.
The Junior Interior
Designer will support senior designers in developing interior concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with space planning for residential projects. Daily responsibilities include creating and updating drawings, coordinating basic construction documentation, and supporting FF&E; selection, sourcing, and documentation. The role involves conducting site visits, taking measurements, tracking progress, and liaising with vendors under guidance to ensure design intent is met.
The Junior Interior
Designer will also help prepare client presentations, maintain project files,
and contribute to a smooth, detail-oriented design and execution process.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into functional, aesthetically cohesive spaces.
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Construction Drawings, including layout development, detailing, and coordination with project teams.
- Knowledge of FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), including selection, specifications, basic costing, and vendor coordination.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools (PowerPoint, Adobe tools preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn from feedback and work closely with cross-functional teams on site.
- Portfolio demonstrating academic or internship projects in interior design; prior internship or 0–2 years of professional experience in interior design is an advantage.
