Qualification

Diploma or BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering. Allied branches considered.

Experience

1 year in estimation, proposals, design or application engineering. Freshers may apply for the Trainee - Estimation post.

CTC

Rs 2.75 - 3.25 lakh per year, based on experience. Trainee post Rs 2.25 lakh per year.

Your work

· Study each enquiry - volume, static pressure, temperature, gas and material - and decide which fan suits it.

· Select the fan on our selection software and prepare the costing sheet - plate weights, bought-out items, motor, coating and accessories.

· Prepare the technical and commercial offer and send it to the customer.

· Follow up the enquiry through revisions and the customer's technical questions until we get the order.





· Work with the design team so that the GA drawing follows the offer quickly.

What you should know

· Good with Excel, and comfortable working with numbers you have to explain.

· Willing to learn fan and airflow basics from the beginning.

· Practical but not compulsory: fans, blowers, pumps, HVAC, pollution control or heat exchangers. Any experience with selection software or costing sheets is a plus.

What you will learn In this role you speak directly to the customer's engineers. Within a year you will know how to read a plant requirement, size a centrifugal fan, cost it correctly, and explain your price to the customer. This skill is useful across the whole process industry.
