Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
:
- Supervise and monitor mechanical O&M; activities at the 40 MLD TSTP.
- Carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Handle pumps, blowers, compressors, valves, gearboxes, piping systems, mechanical screens and other plant equipment.
- Identify mechanical faults and coordinate timely troubleshooting and repairs.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure smooth and effective plant operation.
- Coordinate with operators, technicians and other project personnel for daily O&M; activities.
- Maintain mechanical maintenance records, inspection reports, checklists and logbooks.
- Assist in preventive maintenance planning and spare-parts requirements.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and O&M; requirements.
Required Experience:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in STP/WTP projects.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in STP/WTP O&M; will be preferred.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical equipment used in water/wastewater treatment plants is essential.
