We are looking for a Junior Civil Engineer – Product Catalog & Seller Onboarding who can support our seller onboarding and catalog operations team by understanding construction products, researching product information, and creating accurate and structured product listings.

Role Overview

This is primarily an office-based product catalog and operations role, not a site-engineering role.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of construction and building materials and should be comfortable with product research, Excel/data entry, internet research, and communicating with sellers and our sales team.

You will convert seller-provided information such as catalogues, price lists, product photos, WhatsApp messages, brochures, and handwritten lists into accurate and structured product listings on BajriX.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Sales and Seller Onboarding team in creating product listings for newly onboarded sellers.
- Understand and classify construction products into the correct BajriX categories.
- Research product information using manufacturer websites, official catalogues, brochures, and other reliable sources.
- Identify the correct brand, product name, model, variant, SKU or product family.
- Capture important product attributes such as size, thickness, grade, finish,



material, packaging, application, unit, model number, etc.
- Convert unstructured seller information into standardized and structured product data.
- Review seller-provided product names and descriptions and correct inconsistencies.
- Coordinate with sellers or the onboarding team when important product information is missing.
- Upload and maintain product details, images, specifications, pricing, MOQ, stock information, and other listing data.
- Ensure that duplicate or incorrect products are not created.
- Perform quality checks before product listings are approved or published.
- Maintain product/catalog data in Excel, Google Sheets, and internal BajriX systems.
- Help improve and expand BajriX’s master construction-product catalogue.

Product Categories You May Work With Cement, TMT Steel, Sand, Aggregate, Bricks, AAC Blocks, Tiles, Marble & Granite, Plywood, Laminates, Hardware, Paints, Waterproofing, Plumbing, Sanitaryware, Electricals, Roofing, Doors & Windows, Furniture Fittings, Construction Chemicals and other building materials.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of construction materials and terminology.
- Solid internet and product research skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and product catalogues.
- Good computer and data-entry skills.




- Ability to differentiate between similar construction products and variants.
- Good Hindi communication skills.
- Basic written English.
- Willingness to learn new product categories.
- Ability to work closely with sales and operations teams.
- Must have a personal laptop and be comfortable using it for day-to-day work.

Preferred Candidate We would particularly like to hear from candidates who:
- Have completed or are pursuing Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Are freshers, students, or have up to 2 years of experience.
- Have worked with a construction-material supplier, dealer, distributor, contractor, or builder.
- Have exposure to procurement, estimation, billing, BOQ, construction materials, or site work.
- Have knowledge of brands and products commonly used in the Jaipur/Rajasthan construction market.
- Enjoy research and working with structured data.

Important This position is not primarily a site supervision role.

It is a part-time role suited for someone who understands construction products and is interested in working in technology, catalog operations, research, and the digital construction ecosystem.

Having your own laptop is mandatory for this role.
