Location: Kochi, Kerala, India

Designation: Junior Accounts Executive

No. of Positions: 3

Shift Timings: 3 PM to 12 AM

Years of Experience Required: 0-2 years

Qualifications:

● Graduation in Commerce is mandatory.

● A professional qualification in finance (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA) is a plus.

● Proficient in English (both written and verbal) for clear communication with U.S. leadership and clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

● Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other supporting documents.

● Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.

● Maintain accurate internal time records to ensure proper billing to clients.

● Support the preparation of financial reports and property budgets by providing necessary data.

● Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, ensuring timely collections.

● Help identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records under supervision.

● Write accurate and concise emails that convey process and financial information, ensuring no grammatical errors.

● Utilize property management and accounting software such as Appfolio, Buildium, Yardi, RentManager, and QuickBooks Online for productive accounting tasks.

● Work collaboratively with senior team members to ensure smooth financial operations.

● Adhere to company policies and compliance requirements in all accounting activities.

● Address day-to-day bookkeeping questions from clients.

● Clarify and resolve issues related to "pending transactions."

● Reconcile bank and credit card statements.

● Categorize and post vendor & utility bills and process AP pay runs.





● Post payments from tenants and owners and update bank deposits.

● Review financial reporting, including Income Statements and Balance Sheets.

● Execute management fee pulls and owner/investor distributions.

● Prepare and send owner packets.

● Handle HUD statement entry.

● Post journal entries and accruals.

● Process move-out accounting and bill backs.

● Enter payroll transactions and manage payroll via Intuit/Gusto.

● Perform other clerical bookkeeping tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

● Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

● Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

● Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members.

● Kind, humble, eager to learn and grow, intelligent.

● Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer skills.

● Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and tools.

● Comfortable and interested in working within a multicultural environment with people from diverse backgrounds, religions, cultures, and interests.

● Must live within a reasonable commuting distance to the Kochi office location to ensure travel does not inhibit work performance.

● Exposure to cloud-based accounting software like QuickBooks Online is ideal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,274.02 - ₹20,762.44 per month
