About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and responsible Junior Architect with strong Interior Design and Site Execution knowledge to join our team at Aekatva.

The ideal candidate should be able to take a project from concept and drawings to site execution, understand materials and construction methods, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and ensure that the design is executed as intended.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop architectural and interior design concepts based on project requirements.
- Prepare 2D drawings, working drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, elevations and details.
- Assist in developing 3D models, presentations and design proposals.
- Have good knowledge of interior materials, finishes, hardware, furniture and construction techniques.
- Visit project sites regularly and understand ongoing site requirements.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, carpentry, aluminium and other site teams.
- Check measurements and dimensions at site and prepare drawings accordingly.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and suppliers for smooth execution.
- Monitor the quality of work and ensure execution matches the approved design and drawings.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the senior architect/designer to find practical solutions.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, material specifications and basic project estimates.
- Coordinate with clients when required and communicate design/site updates professionally.
- Maintain project drawings, revisions and documentation.

Skills Required




- Degree/Diploma in Architecture / Interior Design / Interior Architecture.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of SketchUp / 3D software and rendering tools is preferred.
- Good understanding of interior detailing and construction.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes and their practical applications.
- Good site execution and measurement knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and interior drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned projects.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
