Job Summary The Junior Accountant will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities. The role requires attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work with financial systems and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records and accounting entries
- Assist in preparation of invoices, bills, and vouchers
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and maintain expense reports
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for financial matters
- Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com preferred)
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (freshers can apply)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Freshers with Tally Software Practical Knowledge are welcome
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of GST and TDS regulations
- Experience with accounting software like Tally ERP
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
