ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and responsible Junior Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably with strong experience in the hospital/healthcare industry.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally, accounting operations, financial data analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and Excel.

The candidate must also possess good decision-making and problem-solving skills and should be capable of handling routine accounting matters independently while knowing when an issue needs to be escalated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle accounting entries, vouchers, invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses using Tally.
- Perform bank, cash, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
- Verify financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare regular accounting reports and financial summaries.
- Analyze financial data to identify errors, mismatches, unusual transactions, and trends.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing, payments, expenses,



and financial documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure accounting records are updated accurately and on time.
- Provide financial data and reports required by management for decision-making.
- Follow internal financial controls, accounting procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Handle hospital-specific accounting and financial transactions.

HOSPITAL / HELTHCARE ACCOUNTING NEEDED Hospital experience is required.

The candidate should have practical exposure to areas such as:

- Hospital billing and collections
- Patient-related financial transactions
- Insurance / TPA transactions
- Doctor / consultant payments
- Vendor payments
- Pharmacy / laboratory / diagnostic-related transactions
- Hospital expenses
- Daily cash and collection reconciliation
- Department-wise financial reporting

REQUIRED SKILL

Accounting

- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Journal entries and ledger management
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Bank and cash reconciliation
- Invoice and payment processing

Tally

- Positive working knowledge of Tally
- Voucher entry and ledger management
- Reconciliation
- Accounting reports
- Identifying and correcting discrepancies

Data Analysis

- Robust numerical and analytical ability
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Ability to analyze accounting and financial data
- Ability to prepare and interpret reports
- Ability to identify trends, errors, mismatches, and irregularities

- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Hospital / Healthcare accounting experience required
- Strong working knowledge of Tally
- Good knowledge of MS Excel

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

EDUCATION B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance / CMA / CA /equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance
