About The Role We are seeking a Support Engineer to join our Support Engineering Team at Blis. This role acts as a crucial bridge between the Ad Operations and Engineering teams, ensuring that campaigns run smoothly and any technical issues are swiftly resolved.

The Support

Engineer will play a vital role in troubleshooting, resolving technical challenges, and supporting the integration and certification of new third-party ad technologies. This position requires meticulous planning, testing, and excellent communication skills, both internally and externally. Coding experience is also essential to facilitate seamless technical support and integration processes.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, along with 1-3 years of hands-on engineering experience. A solid understanding of Linux/Unix/Windows operating systems is essential, complemented by basic shell scripting knowledge.

Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Java, JavaScript, and HTML at a basic to intermediate level is required. Familiarity with mobile app technologies, especially Android and iPhone platforms, is highly desirable.



A good grasp of networking concepts, API (particularly REST API), and protocols like HTTP/HTTPS is necessary.

Experience with incident tracking systems such as Jira, version control tools like Github or Gitlab, and databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong prioritization and time management skills, along with experience within the advertising or ad tech industries.

Responsibilities

- Support the campaign management team in the technical setup and delivery of real-time bidding (RTB) campaigns across the Blis platform, ensuring accurate configuration and execution.
- Assist the creative team by building and hosting creatives with all necessary tracking components to guarantee seamless campaign performance.
- Utilize Jira to efficiently resolve or escalate troubleshooting tickets submitted by the Operations team, maintaining SLA standards.
- Perform detailed campaign debugging as required, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly.
- Collaborate with the engineering team during testing phases for new functionalities within Blis systems, contributing to quality assurance processes.
- Identify potential risks within support tickets, flagging red flags and recurring patterns to prevent future issues.
- Provide training and knowledge sharing to team members on new project rollouts, product updates, and best practices.
- Lead third-party certification processes,



maintaining up-to-date knowledge of third-party ad technologies and ensuring compliance.
- Contribute to the company knowledge base by documenting proven processes and solutions, benefiting the wider team.
- Validate campaign setups when needed and troubleshoot any technical issues to ensure optimal campaign performance.
- Monitor campaign metrics across various media types to confirm that campaigns are running correctly and achieving desired outcomes.
- Manage certification processes for current servers and tools, such as rich media providers, to expand and enhance platform capabilities.
