Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end IT projects for Utility/Energy clients from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Own project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, quality, and overall delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Utility clients and business stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising functional consultants, developers, testers, architects, infrastructure, and business analysts.
- Understand utility business processes such as:
- Customer-to-Meter / Meter-to-Cash

- Customer Service and Billing

- Metering and AMI

- MDMS
- Work & Asset Management

- Outage Management

- Field Service

- Energy/Utility Data Management
- Coordinate with client stakeholders to understand requirements, priorities, project milestones, and delivery expectations.
- Manage project plans, RAID logs, resource allocation, budgets, and governance processes.
- Conduct regular Steering Committee / Project Review meetings and provide project status reports to senior management.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Coordinate UAT, deployment, release management, production go-live, and hypercare activities.




- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners where required.
- Drive Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies depending on the engagement.
- Support presales, estimation, proposal development, transition, and account growth activities when required.
- Ensure adherence to organizational delivery, security, compliance, and governance standards.

Mandatory Skills

- 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in Project/Program Management.
- Experience managing Utility/Energy clients or Utility domain projects.
- Robust client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing large and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of project planning, estimation, budgeting, resource management, RAID, and governance.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum / Waterfall / Hybrid methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong experience in handling escalations and managing senior client stakeholders.
