ROLE PURPOSE The IT Manager will manage day-to-day IT operations and the technology asset ecosystem across Ramtaranga Aero
Systems Pvt. Ltd. and Ramtaranga Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The role is responsible for ensuring that computers, servers,
software, devices, networks, and related IT services are available, secure, documented, and fit for business use. This position owns the full IT asset lifecycle, vendor coordination, new-joiner technology readiness, and practical resolution of technical issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
IT asset management and device control
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement requests, receipt, registration, allocation,
configuration, maintenance, replacement, recovery, and secure disposal.
- Maintain an accurate asset register covering laptops, desktops, mobile devices, servers, network equipment, software
licenses, accessories, warranties, and assigned users.
- Implement and maintain geo-tagging or location-record processes for company devices, ensuring records are current
and traceable.
- Conduct periodic asset verification, reconciliation, and audit support; investigate missing, unassigned, or
non-compliant assets. Systems, hardware, software, and server operations
- Set up, test, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, applications,
servers, peripherals, and related IT infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts, access requirements, software installations, system updates, backups, and standard device
configurations.
- Maintain reliable availability and performance of IT systems; identify issues, coordinate fixes, and document resolution
steps.
- Support network connectivity, Wi-Fi, printers, meeting-room technology, endpoint peripherals, and other workplace IT
services. Data protection and IT security support
- Maintain practical controls to safeguard company data, including backup monitoring, access control, endpoint
protection, patching coordination, and secure configuration practices.
- Coordinate with the Group Cybersecurity Engineer and technology leadership on asset visibility, access changes,
device compliance, incident support, and security requirements.
- Ensure secure handling, handover, return, and sanitization of devices and accounts during onboarding, transfers, and
offboarding. New-joiner onboarding and user support
- Prepare and issue laptops, devices, accounts, software access, accessories, and essential IT setup for new recruits
before their joining date.
- Deliver clear user onboarding, maintain setup checklists, and provide responsive first- and second-line IT support.
- Track support requests, prioritize business-impacting incidents, communicate status, and maintain an accessible
knowledge base or IT SOPs. Vendor, purchasing, and quotation management

- Source and evaluate technology tools, hardware, software, services, and support partners based on approved
requirements.
- Obtain and compare quotations, coordinate purchase documentation, manage vendor communication, and support
timely procurement and renewals.
- Maintain vendor, warranty, contract, service, and license records; follow up on service quality, repairs, replacements,
and escalations.
- Provide clear technical recommendations and budget inputs for IT purchases, upgrades, renewals, and infrastructure
needs.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a
closely related discipline.
- Minimum three years of hands-on experience in IT support, IT operations, systems administration, infrastructure
support, or IT asset management.
- Demonstrated experience supporting end users, configuring business devices and software, and coordinating with
technology vendors. REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Computer hardware, operating systems, device setup, troubleshooting, software installation, user administration,
basic server administration, and network-support fundamentals.
- IT asset management, inventory control, device allocation, geo-tagging/location records, warranty tracking, software
licenses and license records, and asset-audit practices.
- Backup awareness, data protection, endpoint security, patching, access management, and secure IT operations.
- Vendor management, quotation comparison, purchasing coordination, documentation, and service-level follow-up.
- Strong communication, customer-service, organization, problem-solving, documentation, and prioritization skills.
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
- High ownership and reliability in handling company assets, user access, and sensitive business information.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate effectively with staff, vendors, leadership,
and technical teams.
- Willingness and ability to undertake frequent travel as required for group operations.
