About the Role

FABDIZ and FABCURO are growing premium brands in the interiors, architecture, luxury wall décor, and artefacts space. We are looking for an experienced Head of IT & Software Development to lead our technology and software development function.

This role is ideal for a Software Development / Engineering leader who has progressed into a technology leadership position and understands how to build, manage, improve, and scale business-critical software systems.

You will be responsible for leading the development team, managing our existing technology infrastructure and applications, developing new software solutions, integrating business systems, and ensuring that technology supports the company's growth.

We are looking for someone who can understand business requirements, guide technical teams, make practical technology decisions, and personally contribute to solving complex software and IT problems when required.

Your Key Responsibilities1. Software Development & Technology

- Lead the overall software development and IT function.
- Manage the development, maintenance, and improvement of business applications.
- Plan and execute the company's technology roadmap.
- Ensure software applications are reliable, secure, scalable, and easy to maintain.
- Review existing systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Guide the team on architecture, coding standards, development practices, and technology choices.
- Oversee development of websites, internal applications, portals, CRM systems, ERP integrations, and other business software.
- Manage third-party software, APIs, integrations, and technology vendors.
- Ensure proper documentation, version control, testing, deployment, and backup processes.

1. Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage the software development / IT team.
- Allocate projects and responsibilities based on team capabilities.
- Set development standards and timelines.
- Review team performance and provide technical and managerial guidance.
- Build a strong culture of ownership, accountability, quality, and continuous learning.
- Work closely with senior management to communicate project progress, challenges, and technology requirements.

1. Business Applications

You will oversee technology solutions supporting areas such as:
- CRM and lead management
- Sales and quotation systems
- Project management
- Customer and vendor portals
- Internal business applications
- ERP and accounting integrations
- Marketing and sales systems
- Inventory / operations systems
- Reporting and management dashboards
- Website and e-commerce platforms
- API and third-party integrations

1. IT Infrastructure & Security

- Oversee cloud infrastructure and hosting.
- Ensure website and application security.
- Manage access controls, backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Coordinate with external IT / infrastructure vendors where required.
- Ensure systems remain stable,



secure, and available for business operations.
- Establish appropriate IT policies, processes, and technology standards.

1. Automation & AI

- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive business processes.
- Evaluate and implement practical AI tools where they provide genuine business value.
- Support integration of AI into sales, marketing, customer service, reporting, and internal workflows.
- Work with the development team to integrate APIs and automation platforms.

The role does not require you to be an AI specialist. Strong software development and technology leadership experience is the primary requirement.

What We're Looking ForExperience

- 8+ years of experience in Software Development / IT / Engineering.
- Proven experience in a Software Development Manager, Engineering Manager, Head of IT, Head of Engineering, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role.
- Strong experience managing software development teams.
- Experience building and managing business-critical applications.
- Experience handling multiple software projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and senior management.
- Experience managing external technology vendors and development partners is an advantage.

Technical Background Candidates should come from a strong software development background and have practical understanding of several of the following:

- React / Angular / Vue
- Node.js / Python / PHP / Laravel / Java / .NET
- REST APIs
- SQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL
- MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Cloud platforms – AWS / Azure / Google Cloud
- Git / GitHub
- CI/CD
- Docker
- Web application architecture
- API integrations
- CRM / ERP integrations
- Website development and management
- Application security
- Cloud infrastructure

You do not need to be an expert in every technology listed above. We are primarily looking for strong software engineering fundamentals, leadership ability, and the capability to understand and manage modern technology systems. Leadership & Business Skills

What Success Looks Like Within the first 6–12 months, you will be expected to:
- Establish strong processes for software development and IT management.
- Improve the stability and performance of existing applications.
- Build and strengthen the software development team.
- Deliver important business applications and integrations.
- Reduce dependency on manual processes through automation.
- Improve reporting and visibility for management.
- Strengthen application and IT security.
- Improve development quality, documentation, testing, and deployment processes.
- Create a practical technology roadmap aligned with business growth.
- Introduce AI and automation where it creates measurable business value.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant skilled experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Industry Experience Experience in any of the following industries will be an advantage:
- Interior Design

- Digital / Technology Services

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
