Job - Investment Banking Intern

Position Summary

The Investment Banking Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role will provide exposure to various aspects of investment banking, including financial modeling, industry research, client presentations, and deal execution support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modelling: Assist in building and updating financial models
- Industry Research: Conduct in-depth research on industries, companies, and market trends. Analyse financial statements, industry publications, business and other relevant data to support decision-making.
- Strategic Projects: Support the team on various strategic and business development initiatives and assist in identifying potential partners and new business opportunities.
- Client Presentations: Assist in the preparation of client presentations, including financial summaries, market data, and valuation analyses
- Deal Execution Support: Provide support to senior bankers throughout the deal lifecycle, including due diligence, data room management, and transaction closings
- Business Development:



Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing expense reports

Qualifications:
- Qualified CA or CA Intermediate or MBA
- Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in finance
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.)
- Hands-on experience in using AI tools will be an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in finance (e.g., internships, relevant coursework) is a plus
