Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Inventory & Production Process Manager to manage end-to-end inventory and production execution. The role will be responsible for material planning, production scheduling, shop-floor control, WIP management, manpower deployment, production coordination and ensuring timely achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, consumables, WIP, finished goods, tools and spares.
- Manage minimum stock, reorder levels, safety stock and material requirements.
- Ensure material availability as per production schedules.
- Coordinate material receipts, inspection, storage, issue, return and reconciliation.
- Issue materials against approved BOMs, work orders and material requisitions.
- Monitor material consumption, wastage, scrap and shortages.
- Conduct physical stock verification and ERP reconciliation.
- Coordinate with Procurement for material indents, PR/PO and vendor follow-up.
- Escalate critical material shortages before production is affected.

Production Planning & Scheduling

- Prepare monthly, weekly and daily production schedules.
- Plan production based on delivery commitments, material, manpower, machine and fixture capacity.
- Break production targets into daily, shift-wise and stage-wise targets.
- Monitor planned vs. actual production.
- Reschedule production in case of material shortages, breakdowns, manpower gaps or QC holds.
- Identify delays and prepare production recovery plans.

Production & Shop-Floor Management





- Supervise daily production activities as per approved schedules, drawings, BOMs, SOPs and work instructions.
- Monitor fabrication, machining, assembly, finishing, inspection and dispatch preparation.
- Control WIP movement and ensure smooth flow between production stages.
- Monitor production quantity, cycle time, downtime, rework, rejection and bottlenecks.
- Maintain 5S, workplace organisation and controlled material movement.
- Ensure proper segregation and identification of accepted, rejected, WIP, rework and finished materials.
- Ensure PPE compliance and safe operation of machines and equipment.

Manpower Management

- Prepare daily manpower deployment plans.
- Allocate workers to supervisors, machines and workstations.
- Conduct daily production briefings and communicate targets.
- Monitor attendance, overtime, productivity and workforce utilisation.
- Manage worker/supervisor performance, discipline and training requirements.
- Ensure only trained and authorised personnel operate machinery.

Maintenance & QC Coordination

- Coordinate machine readiness, breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance.
- Track downtime and maintenance-related production losses.
- Coordinate incoming, in-process, final, ATP and PDI inspections with QC.
- Ensure required QC clearances are obtained before moving production to the next stage.
- Track NCRs, rework and corrective actions until reinspection.
- Ensure production records and traceability are maintained for QC, ATP, PDI,



DGQA and client inspections.

Reporting & MIS

- Prepare daily production reports, weekly production reviews and monthly production MIS.
- Maintain inventory, material requirement, production schedule and work-order trackers.
- Track material consumption, WIP, manpower productivity, downtime, rework, rejection and bottlenecks.
- Report production readiness, material shortages, QC clearances and dispatch status.

Role Authority The position will have authority to allocate manpower, reallocate machines, stop use of unidentified/rejected materials or unsafe equipment, hold production movement pending QC clearance, escalate critical shortages and recommend overtime, additional manpower or shift changes as required. Ideal candidate: A production/inventory qualified who can effectively manage materials + manpower + machines + production schedules + shop-floor execution and ensure uninterrupted production and timely delivery.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
