MAIN TASKS:

- Store and Inventory Management

- Receiving and storage of chemicals according to their chemical classes

- Making Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)

- Issuing lab chemicals and consumables

- Performing periodic inventory safety checks & audits

- Immediate reporting of any issues related to chemical inventory system (ERP) and following up with the ERP accountable to resolve the same

- Identifying near “expiry date” chemicals, informing to chemist & sending for disposals based on feedback received

- Review of inventory and raising orders for consumables & common chemicals/solvents as needed

- Ensuring safety & compliance with local laws & company policies

- Legal Compliance

- As a store responsible, ensuring safety & legal compliance e.g., wrt to class A solvent storage, Poison store, Narcotics substances & solvent/chemical handling licenses

- Staying UpToDate with current guidelines/directives issued from time to time

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in inventory management

- Should be fluent in communication

- Proactive, result driven and entrepreneurial approach towards tasks
