Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing residential and commercial interiors, preparing layouts and 3D designs, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring that projects are executed according to the approved design.

- Key Responsibilities Understand client requirements, preferences, budget, and functional needs.

- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, furniture plans, and space-planning solutions.
- Prepare 2D drawings, working drawings, and 3D visualizations/renderings.
- Design kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, wardrobes, TV units, false ceilings, and other interior spaces.
- Select suitable materials, laminates, finishes, colours, lighting, hardware, furniture, and accessories.
- Prepare detailed drawings for execution and coordinate design details with site teams.

- Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, vendors, and other professionals.
- Conduct site visits and ensure that work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Make design modifications based on client feedback and site requirements.

- Prepare material specifications, BOQs, and estimates when required.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations,



material selection, and procurement.
- Maintain project timelines and ensure design deliverables are completed on schedule.

- Identify and resolve design or execution issues during the project.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, products, and technologies.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of space planning, furniture design, materials, finishes, and lighting.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, or similar design tools.

- Strong knowledge of residential interior design and modular furniture.
- Good understanding of measurements, drawings, dimensions, and construction details.
- Solid visualisation and creative problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong design sense.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Freshers may be considered depending on portfolio and skills.
- Experience in residential or commercial interior projects will be an advantage.

- A strong portfolio demonstrating design and visualization skills is preferred.
