Role Description The Insurance Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with a mix of onsite work and some work-from-home flexibility. In this position, the specialist will support insurance placement and administration, including reviewing client requirements, preparing documentation, and coordinating with insurers and internal stakeholders. Daily activities include analyzing risk and coverage options, assisting with policy renewals, endorsements, and claims-related follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems.

The role involves regular communication with clients and insurance brokers to clarify coverage details, address inquiries,



and ensure timely resolution of service requests.

The Insurance

Specialist will also collaborate with finance and operations teams to support billing, reconciliations, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, with the ability to understand policy terms, coverage structures, and market practices.
- Foundational skills in Finance, including comfort with numerical data, basic analysis, and reconciliation of insurance-related financial information.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, insurers, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and insurance or CRM systems; experience in a brokerage or insurance company environment is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications in insurance are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model from Mumbai, demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to ethical and compliant practices.
