Infra Tech Specialist Ops will plan and optimize enterprise infrastructure capacity using predictive analytics and AI driven models ensuring stable performance and cost efficiency for hybrid environments. The role focuses on proactive demand forecasting risk prevention and collaboration with cross functional stakeholders in a day shift hybrid model with no travel requirement.
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive capacity strategies that use predictive methods and AI based models to forecast infrastructure demand and prevent performance degradation across hybrid environments.
- Drive end to end capacity planning processes that align infrastructure resources with business growth targets while maintaining cost efficiency and operational resilience.
- Analyze trends in utilization performance metrics and historical incidents to identify capacity risks early and recommend corrective actions that protect critical services.
- Collaborate with application owners operations teams and architecture experts to translate business forecasts into detailed infrastructure capacity plans for compute storage and network.
- Implement automated monitoring and alerting workflows that track capacity thresholds and enable proactive intervention before service quality is affected.
- Optimize existing capacity by identifying unused or underutilized resources and recommending consolidation or reallocation strategies that support sustainability and budget goals.
- Develop and maintain predictive dashboards and reports that communicate capacity health forecast accuracy and risk scenarios to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal platform teams to evaluate new tools and methods that enhance AI driven capacity planning and operational efficiency.
- Document capacity models assumptions procedures and governance standards to ensure consistent execution and knowledge sharing across operations teams.
- Guide incident and problem management activities related to capacity shortfalls by providing root cause insights and long term prevention recommendations.
- Support process manufacturing industry customers or internal units by aligning capacity strategies with production cycles quality constraints and safety critical operations.
- Ensure all capacity planning activities comply with corporate policies data privacy requirements and industry regulations while enabling continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior operations staff on predictive capacity techniques and analytical practices to strengthen organizational capability in data driven infrastructure planning.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in predictive capacity management using advanced analytics and AI techniques applied to large scale enterprise infrastructure.
- Demonstrate solid expertise in capacity planning across compute storage and network layers with proven ability to design scalable and resilient solutions.
- Apply practical knowledge of AI driven forecasting tools and scripting languages to build and refine capacity models that deliver accurate and actionable insights.
- Bring solid exposure to general capacity planning methodologies including demand modeling scenario analysis and performance baselining for complex environments.
- Offer domain understanding of process manufacturing industry operations where capacity decisions must support continuous production quality standards and safety requirements.
Certifications Required Recommended certifications include ITIL Foundation and a relevant cloud platform certification such as Azure Administrator Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
