Job Summary
Standard Chartered is seeking an experienced technology leader for the role of Cluster Chief Technology and Operating Officer (CTOO) for India and South Asia. This Managing Director level position is based in Mumbai and is critical to our commitment to innovation and operational excellence across our cluster.As the CTOO, you will spearhead the integrated "One Bank" Technology and Operations agenda, ensuring alignment across business units and functions. You will collaborate closely with Cluster and Country Management Teams, Group Technology & Operations leadership, International Markets Management Team, and key stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. This includes all the cluster regulatory responsibilities and face-off to the regulators on behalf of T&O; in the cluster/country.The Cluster CTOO is primarily responsible for the following areas:
Strategy




- You will partner with the Cluster CEO in developing and fine-tuning the T&O; strategy for the cluster/country, ensuring alignment with the broader T&O; strategy at Group and cluster level. As part of this you will drive the implementation of key initiatives and projects in support of the T&O; agenda, such as acquisitions, divestitures, and regulatory projects. This is a strategic role that will drive innovation and delivery of the T&O; transformation agenda in region, with the aim of making SCB a leading digital bank. This strategy will involve looking to streamline processes, enhance productivity, reduce risk and improve controls, leveraging technologies. You will also drive strategic investment reviews owned by the cluster management team and play a pivotal role in investment decisions across cluster countries in remit.
