Description
- Ensure and maintain high standards of cleanliness at the site.
- Follow the instructions and assignments from the Mall Manager
- Strictly ensure and follow instructions from the Manager in using the appropriate cleaning chemicals.
- Ensure all staff wears appropriate uniforms and safety gear and adhere to the prescribed safety standards as per the norms.
- Ensure proper display of signage by housemen.
- Maintain discipline and quality of work of the housemen.
- Ensure no pilferage and wastage of material due to negligence.
- Fully assist the Mall Manager for data relating to day-to-day work, development in systems and methods used.
- Prepare and monitor daily checklists and reports on staff, equipment and material movement.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are rinsed and cleaned after every use.
- Supervisor is overall responsible for the performance of the cleaning operations at the site.
Minimum Skills Requirement:
- Thorough knowledge of the methods and techniques of housekeeping.
- Considerable knowledge of cleaning materials and their chemical effect on surfaces, materials, and têxtiles.
- Considerable knowledge of the operation and proper care of housekeeping equipment, and the requisition and maintenance of supply inventories.
- Ability to train and supervise employees, and to plan and coordinate their work.
- Ability to maintain adequate records and prepare estimates of housekeeping needs.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with qualified, administrative and maintenance personnel, and with the employees.
