Job Title Alternatives: R&D; Scientist, Formulation Scientist, Cosmetic Chemist, Product Development Scientist.

Key Responsibilities
- Formulation Development: Lead the creation and optimization of new and existing product formulations (creams, lotions, serums, makeup, etc.).
- Ingredient Research: Research, evaluate, and source novel raw materials, actives, and sustainable technologies to enhance product efficacy, in line with clean beauty standards.
- Laboratory Testing: Design and execute experiments, including stability testing, compatibility testing, viscosity checks, and pH testing to ensure product longevity.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct sensory evaluation panels to test texture, fragrance, and color to ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all formulations adhere to global regulations (FDA, EU, ISO 22716, GMP) and prepare technical documentation (Product Information Files/Dossiers).
- Scale-Up Support:



Collaborate with manufacturing teams to transition formulations from lab-scale trials to commercial production.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmacy.
- Experience: 3-10 years of experience in R&D; within the cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG industry.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of cosmetic chemistry, emulsion technology (O/W, W/O), surfactants, and skin biology.
- Lab Proficiency: Experience with laboratory equipment such as homogenizers, viscometers, and pH meters.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with natural/organic formulations or sunscreens (SPF/OTC).
- Familiarity with regulatory documentation for different global markets.
- Experience in contract manufacturing or private label environment.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
